Fashion Takes Action
Fashion Takes Actions is Canada’s premiere non-profit organization, established in 2007 to advance sustainability, ethics and circularity in the entire fashion system. It advances sustainability, ethics and circularity in the entire fashion system, which means we work with those who make, sell, buy, wear, dispose, reuse, repair, rent and recycle clothes. Their role is to remove barriers to sustainability through education, awareness, research and collaboration. Stop the Spray Ontario
Stop the Spray Ontario, founded by Joel Theriault, is a 100% volunteer based group focused on stopping the non-essential use of chemical herbicide defoliants within Ontario’s public forestry industry. Quebec banned the use of chemical herbicides in their forestry industry in 2001. There is also a Stop the Spray organization in British Columbia. Joel Theriault is featured in This Film is Garbage!
